When Stephanie heard Richard's furious shouting, she quickly grabbed her phone and called Sebastian. The
Giovanni residence was huge, and he might not even know Richard had shown up.
Sofia started to panic. “I didn’t take anything. Stop freaking out.”
If she opened the door now, with Richard this angry, she knew it would turn into a serious fight.
Richard shouted again, “Cout here!”
While dialing, Stephanie turned to Sofia. “You didn’t take anything, right? You should at least try explaining
things to him.”
Sofia sighed. “Look at him. You think I can explain anything when he’s like this?”
Stephanie thought, ‘Yeah, probably not.
“Didn’t you hear what Theodore said on the phone earlier? He's coming afterwith a weapon.” Sofia said.
Stephanie thought, ‘He’s bringing a weapon. That shows just how worked up Richard is. Like Sofia said, there's
no explaining things to him when he’s this furious.
“Well, why don’t you get a weapon, too?” Stephanie advised.
‘Richard’s so mad that it seems like he wants to kill Sofia. And Theodore said he was bringing a weapon. Should
Sofia get one, too?‘ she thought.

Sofia thought, ‘Fight Richard here? No way. Not in my own house. This is way too risky.
Then, an instinctive glance at Stephanie's stomach made Sofia stop herself. She couldn't afford to act recklessly.
“Call Sebastian now,” Sofia said, not deciding to handle this in her own room.
Stephanie quickly replied, “I'm calling him.”
The phone connected, and Sebastian's voice cthrough. “Head to the medical room right now. I'll be there
soon.”
He'd mentioned earlier that Stephanie should get checked up after the meal.
Stephanie said urgently, “Sebastian, Richard’s here. He's blocking Sofia’s door, and he looks like he’s about to
kill her.”
She kept it short because Richard was already pounding on the door, and it was clear just how angry he was.
Sebastian quickly replied, “I'm on my way. Don’t open the door for him.”
“Okay.” Stephanie hung up, and just as she did, Richard shouted again from outside. “Sofia, you bitch, get out
here right
now.”
Stephanie froze, unsure how to respond.
Sofia’s mouth hung open. Despite wanting to confront Richard earlier for Stephanie’s sake, his current fury
actually scared her. People who were ready to kill weren't people you messed with, and now, Sofia was
completely rattled.
“You're going to kill me? | didn’t take anything. Get out of here,” Sofia shouted back.
With a loud crash, the door slammed into the wall, shaking everything.
Both Stephanie and Sofia were in shock.

Richard stood there, raging with anger. His kick had completely smashed the door down, showing just how far his
anger had pushed him.
Before, it had always been Sofia going after Richard, and she wasn’t scared of him. But now, with Richard
coming at her like this, Sofia couldn't help but flinch.
She instinctively swallowed hard. “W-What are you doing? I'm telling you...” As she spoke, she quickly pulled
Stephanie behind her, trying to protect her.
Richard slowly raised his eyes, shooting Sofia a cold look.

Sofia had never been scared of anyone before. She was used to facing danger head-on, but the intensity of his
gaze made her hesitate. She swallowed the rest of her words right away.
Richard walked over to the sofa and sat down casually, crossing one leg over the other. His posture seemed
relaxed, even cocky. But that cockiness now felt like a warning sign of something much more dangerous.
He reached to his waist, pulled something out, and slammed it down on the coffee table with a loud bang,
making him seem even more dangerous.
“So how exactly are you planning to get my stuff back?” Richard said slowly, his voice laced with threat.
Both Stephanie and Sofia flinched when they saw what was on the table.
Sofia swallowed again. “Believe it or not. | didn’t take anything.” And she really didn’t.
Richard let out a cold laugh. “Oh really? Then explain how it ended up in Dan’s hands. You just cfrom his
place.”
This was the tricky part-Sofia couldn't explain it clearly because of her connection to him.
Before she could respond, Richard smirked, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “He's about to marry someone else,
and you're still helping him? Sofia, | didn’t know you liked chasing after guys like that.”
Sofia couldn’t respond to that.
Stephanie thought, ‘Oh, my God, this guy’s a big-mouthed fool. Sofia’s really in hot water now.”
