Chapter 468: Luxury men
On the second morning, only Ryan Smith and Emma Magus cdown for breakfast.
Daisy Ginger ate for a while, then ran away again.
Ryan, with a smile on his face, carried his tray and sat down in front of Elena Raven, sharing his small cake with
her.

At the door, Daisy Ginger carried cold medicine and knocked on the door.
No one responded from inside.
She frowned, hesitated for a moment, and was about to take out her phone to call the man when she heard
footsteps inside.
The man, arriving late, opened the door, revealing a face slightly pale with illness. Under his dark hair, a pair of
shimmering eyes looked at her calmly.
He was dressed lightly. The weather had been cooling down in recent days, and the mornings were damp, yet he
was only wearing a white thin knit sweater, and his exposed collarbone seemed much leaner.
"You..." Daisy Ginger looked him up and down and couldn't help but say, "Why are you dressed so lightly?"
Having a cold and still being so reckless, is he in a hurry to get worse?
"What's the matter?" The man stood at the door, showing no intention of letting her in, just looked directly at her
and asked.
"Did you not bring any cold medicine?"
Upon hearing this, the man condescended to lower his head, glanced at the plastic bag Daisy was holding, and
then stepped back.
This was inviting her in.
But, she had no intention of going in!
She only wanted to drop off the medicine and leave.
Before she could react, the man had already turned back into the room.
Daisy Ginger had no choice but to bite the bullet and walk inside.
Once inside, she realized that the room Edward Stephens was staying in was much better than the one she and
Elena Raven were in.
Although it had the sdecor, the floor was covered with a beige carpet, the brown sofa was an Italian brand,
and even the hanging white curtains looked expensive.
The clear morning sunlight shone through the glass window, and the man walked inside, resembling a piece of
luxury art.
"Leave the medicine on the coffee table," he said to her blandly.
Daisy Ginger walked over: "You haven't eaten today."
Edward Stephens poured himself a glass of water, glanced at her when he heard this.

"You can’t take cold medicine on an empty stomach." Daisy frowned, not handing him the medicine.
"I don’t have gastric problems."
"Go downstairs and eat something first."
The man paused his water-drinking action, tilted his head, and looked over leisurely.
"Daisy," he said softly, with a hint of laughter in his tone, yet revealing no emotion, "who knew you cared so
much about me?"
Daisy thought to herself, who knew a grown man like you could be so reckless?
"Why are you staying with the film crew?" she asked quietly, "Isn't this the wrong place for you? Have you
finished with your business in Tsing City?"
Edward Stephens seemed a bit tired. He took a sip of water, hugged the cup, and walked over to sit on the
particularly soft-looking beige sofa, lounging lazily.
"I'm the executive producer of this movie, why shouldn't | be here? After all, I've invested several billions."
Now it was Daisy Ginger’s turn to be surprised.
Her eyes widened slightly, stunned by the sudden news, momentarily forgetting what to say.
The man leisurely took another sip of water, then said mockingly, "You can’t possibly have been filming for so
long without knowing who the producer is, right?"
"|..." she indeed didn’t know. A film could have more than a dozen producers, how could she remember each
one? But it made no sense, she ought to remember any film with Edward Stephens’ nattached.
She recalled that the next day, Director Carter suddenly called her to apologize and even invited Elena Raven to
play the second female lead in his movie; the producer who drugged her was arrested, and even the person
behind him was uprooted.
All of these happened after Edward Stephens arrived in Banyan City.
Now, he also turned out to be the executive producer of the film.
With so many things linked together, even if Daisy Ginger was a bit slow, she could guess it’s Edward Stephens
paving the way for her.
— All of this, he did for her without knowing any of the truth.
Looking at the pale young man on the sofa, Daisy Ginger suddenly felt a bit soft-hearted, though rationally she
knew it was inappropriate.
"So what would you like to eat?" she asked, "I'll get you smillet porridge, you were eating that yesterday..."
The latter part of her voice trailed off, feeling like she was saying something she shouldn't.
Fortunately, Edward didn’t notice it; he just frowned a bit and said somewhat fastidiously, "Whatever."
Looking as if he was doing her a favor.
Daisy Ginger breathed a sigh of relief, put the medicine on the coffee table, "I'll go downstairs to get you some
porridge, wait here for me."
Edward responded blandly, not very enthusiastically.
Sigh. Daisy Ginger sighed lightly in her heart. Daisy, oh Daisy, you're playing with fire... do you really know what
you're doing?
At this rate, not only your own heart, but even Erin Ginger might not be kept safe...

She went downstairs and asked the kitchen staff for smillet porridge.
She also picked a few refreshing side dishes, packed them and brought them up to Edward.
When she returned, the man was still sitting on the sofa, and had picked up a book to read.
She personally took out the food, placed it in front of him, and put disposable chopsticks on the bowl, urging,
"Eat quickly, it'll cool soon."
Edward glanced at her, picked up the chopsticks, tasted a few bites of the side dishes, and then put the
chopsticks down.
Daisy Ginger was taken aback, "What's wrong?"
The man frowned, showing sdisdain, "No appetite."
Daisy Ginger almost went on her knees for him.
A grown man, getting picky when he’s sick, do you think you're little Erin Ginger?
Daisy was tempted to pick up the bowl and personally feed him.
She sighed deeply, exhausted: "Taking medicine on an empty stomach will give you a stomach ache. Drink a few
more sips of porridge, just a few, okay?"
Edward looked at her with great reluctance, acting like he was debating whether to give her sface.
