Chapter 325:

Stella liked Janni very much. She admired Janni’s lyrics, and every tshe heard them, her eyes would fill with

tears. Over time, she developed a fondness for songs that weren't fashionable.

She preferred the so-called old feelings and classics. She didn’t like rock music; instead, she favored slow songs.

There was a twhen she particularly enjoyed listening to Amrinder Gill, whose songs she sang best.

Her classmates often praised her singing. Stella enjoyed Amrinder Gill's slow and love songs the most. Later on,

even when Amrinder Gill appeared in more movies, she still preferred his early music.

Stella was a unique person. She had never pursued luxurious or flashy things, which contributed to her subdued

personality. There was little sign of youth and liveliness about her. It was probably for this reason that RK had

noticed her.

Speaking of RK, he was indeed one of the peculiar ones. While everyone else focused on bright and beautiful

things, he was drawn to depth and character. He was completely different from ordinary people. Upon reflecting,

Stella realized that it was probably this quality that made her fall in love with him.

It was clear that both of them were not ordinary individuals.

Stella returned to her senses from her daydreaming while writing her book. After a day had passed, she looked

up and saw the hyacinths on the table.

She was about to ask RK to put them in a vase when she realized he wasn’t around. She guessed that he might

have gone out to buy dinner, so she slowly got out of bed, took the old bouquet of hyacinths from the vase, and

replaced it with the new one.

Once she finished, she felt grateful to be able to stand and walk, so she ambled slowly around the ward. The

wound on her back had gradually becnumb, and she could no longer feel the pain.

As long as she didn’t move too abruptly, her back wouldn't hurt, which led her to believe there would be no

problem with being discharged from the hospital in the next few days. Regarding her book, after such a long

tof hard work, she had almost finished half of it and thought she would be able to publish it soon.

Thinking of this, Stella felt a surge of excitement. It was easy for her to becimpulsive when she was excited,

and since her mind was not focused on walking, she accidentally bumped into an obstacle and fell. The moment

before she hit the ground, her only thought was that she was done for. A dull pain struck her, and she lost

consciousness.

When RK arrived at the Richard family haround 6 PM, he felt a bit impatient since he was supposed to be

buying dinner for Stella. Unfortunately, he found himself standing at the door of the Richard family house

instead, which made him feel guilty.

As soon as Isabella saw RK, she immediately becexcited and opened the door to welchim.

“Rene, you're here! Go and see Sophia. She hasn't cout of her room for several days and hasn't eaten much

of the food that was sent to her. She’s been holed up in her room this whole time. We had no choice but to call

you here.”

RK didn’t want to engage much with Isabella. He turned and headed upstairs. He knocked on the door and then

pushed it open to enter.

“Get out. | don’t want to see anyone right now,” Sophia said, sitting by the window and gazing at the sunset

outside. No one knew what she was thinking.

“You don’t want to see me, either?” RK asked.

Sophia turned around when she realized it was RK.

“They called you here? It seems they're at their wit’s end.” Sophia smiled bitterly and then turned her head

away.

“It’s true. It's the first tI've seen Mrs. Isabella show such frustration,” RK replied. He closed the door and

walked up to Sophia. “I remember you were the happiest person in the past.

You would fail an exam or argue with your classmates, and you'd be so angry one moment, but then happy the

next. Now that you've made such a fuss, you need to explain.”

“It’s nothing. | just want to think about life. In the past, | always regarded you as my dream and chased after

you. Now that that goal is gone, | want to find another one for myself.”

“Oh, that's great,” RK nodded. “However, | don’t think it’s wise to go on a hunger strike.”

“I'm not going on a hunger strike. | just don’t have an appetite. | didn’t lock myself in my room, or you wouldn't

have been able to get in,” Sophia replied. Then she looked up at the sky and said, “RK, look at the beautiful sky

today. | saw the sunset just now.”

“The sky is beautiful every day, and the sunset is also beautiful every day. You just never paid attention to it,” RK

pointed out.

To be honest, she had to admit that sometimes RK spoke like an old lady.
