water is very shallow.”

Tristan had seen Alice leave several times without stopping her. He followed her each time, worried that
something might happen.

He hadn't expected Alice to find him in the country after searching for so long abroad. He was unsure if this was

returned to her room, pretending not to have seen anything.
Adrian had been staying with RK for two days, and Stella didn’t think much of it. After such a long time, she was
no longer as scared as she had been initially and didn’t want Adrian to sleep with her.
Stella returned to her room without turning on the light. She walked slowly to the window, gazing at the scenery
outside while humming a tune. Unbeknownst to her, RK was hidden in the shadows, watching her quietly.
RK noted that Stella had recovered, but he wondered why she felt the need to keep it from them.
