Chapter 297
"Even if you say so, Commissioner Kaufman, rules are rules," the doctor said. He then turned to Yolanda and
gave her a clearly disgusted glance.
"Besides, she doesn't even qualify to perform surgery. If you don't believe me, ask her.
"Which medical school did she graduate from? How many years of practical experience does she have?"
"I've never gone to medical school, but | have a medical license. | can perform surgeries," Yolanda replied
honestly.
"You heard her, Commissioner Kaufman. She has never been to medical school but has a medical license. Is
there anything more ridiculous than that?
"People like these are just attention-seeking frauds. | will not agree to letting her perform surgery on Mr.
Kaufman."
"You've had rheumatoid arthritis for many years now, and it's very severe," Yolanda said out of the blue.
"What?"
The medical staff all around were shocked.

"H-How did you know that?" Jude's attending doctor was horrified.
This was a long-tailment of his. He had not been successful in relieving his symptoms at all.
However, he was afraid that his colleagues would feel that he lacked medical skills, so he tried very hard to hide
the fact that he had rheumatoid arthritis. Alas, Yolanda exposed him.
"Not only do | know, but | can also cure your rheumatoid arthritis," Yolanda continued confidently.
"That's nonsense!" A look of rage fleeted on the attending doctor's face.
If that could be so easily cured, he wouldn't have to suffer for so many years.
In reality, ailments like rheumatoid arthritis and its symptoms could only, at most, be relieved. It was a riddle
that even the medical world couldn't solve, but the little lady before him dared to brag that she could cure it
completely. How ridiculous!
Even if Yolanda could tell that he had rheumatoid arthritis, it didn't mean that she was able to perform surgery
on the patient.
"No matter what you say, | will not allow you to perform the surgery. Stop wasting your time."
Yolanda thought about it and suggested, "Wanna bet?"
"If | can save Mr. Kaufman, you have to work six months at my clinic for free. If I lose, you can do whatever you
want with me."
She was confident because she knew that she wouldn't lose.
"Anything | want?" The attending doctor scoffed coldly.
"What if | want to send you to jail?"
"That's up to you."
"Are you insisting on letting her do this surgery, Commissioner Kaufman?" The attending doctor turned to Joel
instead after hearing what Yolanda had to say. "That's right."
"Okay then, if anything does happen, she bears all responsibility. Our hospital is not liable at all."
He still felt like Yolanda was a fraud, so he had planned to volunteer himself. In case anything went south, he
could at least gather sevidence.
Right after that, he also ordered an experienced medical intern, Liam, to stay with him.
"Is this really okay, Dr. Gotham?"
Liam looked exasperated as his colleagues left the trauma room and lamented in his heart how unlucky he was.
"Since Commissioner Kaufman is taking full responsibility, and it's Commissioner Kaufman's brother on the
operating table, we can't stop him if he insists on doing this, right?" Leon remarked to Liam with a lowered voice.
"In a while, our task is to expose this fraud and collect evidence that would benefit the hospital."
"Okay. | got it."
Liam felt like he was given a very important task, and his expression becmore solemn.
After irrelevant people had left the trauma room, Joel looked intently at Jude, who was on the bed. He gritted his
teeth and left the room as well.
Yolanda had already started preparing for surgery.
"Lettell you, it's still not too late to turn back now. Performing surgery
recklessly is a huge medical misconduct and is liable to a penalty of perjury. Even
if you're underage, you're not exempted from this."
Leon Gotham scoffed coldly as he watched Yolanda do her preparation.
"| really don't know if | should call you ignorant or courageous."
