Chapter 300
"You... You..." Seth stammered. He had initially thought that it would be quick and easy, but he didn't expect the
both of them to be so skilled.
Just as he was about to call for reinforcement on his phone, Yolanda kicked him in the chest, causing him to grunt
and collapse onto the ground.
"I don't care who sent you, but there's a steep price to pay for causing a delay to my dinner." Yolanda frowned.
Displeasure was clearly displayed in her eyes.
She couldn't care less if the other person would call for reinforcements, but she didn't want to waste more time.
Seth was so shocked he could barely speak, but he still tried to reach for his phone, which had fallen nearby.
"Are you still not giving up?" Yolanda didn't want thugs to mob her in the nof revenge when she was
enjoying her kebabs.
She was contemplating if she should knock him out when she heard sirens wailing coming nearer and nearer to
their direction.
Soon, three police cars appeared, and according to how the siren sounded, it sounded like more were coming.

A middle-aged man brought a uniformed police officer in as they ran into the alleyway.
Yolanda felt like that person looked familiar. It seemed like she had seen this man beside Joel when Sean brought
someone over to look for trouble with her.
Indeed, the man ran toward them and said, "Commissioner Kaufman was worried that it might be hard to catch a
ride at this tand wantedto give you a ride, but you guys were too quick."
The middle-aged man initially wanted to drive to catch up with Gavin and Yolanda, but before he could catch up
to them, he saw a bunch of men in black chasing them into an alleyway.
Thus, he contacted his colleagues right away to send police officers over so the people who meant harm to
Yolanda would be arrested.
"It's a good thing | came, or these bad guys would've succeeded."
She spoke while he glanced at the people on the ground, with sof them
already slipping into a coma and feeling like even without him, Yolanda and Gavin would be okay.
Were girls nowadays so aggressive nowadays?
Joel's friends were no ordinary people, so it seemed.
"Oh, right, Dr. Henderson, who are they? Why are they chasing you?"
"I'm not sure." Yolanda pretended as though she didn't know anything.
"Maybe they were trying to robsince it was already dark?"
"Um..."
The middle-aged man's mouth twitched. He had never seen such a huge commotion only to rob someone.
"It's fine if you didn't know. We'll bring them back to interrogate them, and then we will know for sure."
"Welding weapons and attacking in a busy area is a major offense. Don't worry, Dr. Henderson."
"Okay, I'll leave it to you to settle this area. We drove, so you don't have to send us. We'll make a move."
"Okay. Take care, Dr. Henderson."
Yolanda nodded to the middle-aged man in acknowledgment, held Gavin's hand, and walked in the other
direction.
As for Seth and the rest, those who had passed out were sent to the hospital; those who were still awake were
cuffed and brought back to the police station.
After they were brought back to the police station, Seth finally caved after an overnight interrogation by the
policemen.
Joel learned what had happened and was furious. He immediately issued an arrest warrant for the Fricks for
disrupting social order.
Jason, who was waiting for Seth to respond, couldn't contact him. After using his connections to find out what
happened, he suddenly realized the graveness of the situation.
He packed his things and ran away overnight while Andy was taken back to the police station in the nof
helping with the investigation.
Yolanda and Gavin had finished their supper and got a bowl! of chicken soup to go.
"I'll visit Harold in the hospital. You don't have to cwith me," Yolanda said.
