Chapter 303
Zach thought for a moment and then smiled. "But you really don't look like a student..."
"I don't look like one?" Yolanda questioned.
"Most students don't have your calm demeanor and strong presence." As he spoke, he seemed to reminisce
about his own student days.
"Yolanda, if you're not busy, you should go back and attend the Art Festival. It'll probably be more interesting
than you think."
"Sure. I'll go there when | have time."
Yolanda was more interested in the art exhibition during the closing ceremony and planned to check it out then.
"Alright, I'll meet you at Willow Creek Clinic at noon."
After hanging up with Zach, she headed out and took the subway to the clinic.
Perhaps it was due to the changing season, but there were many patients at the clinic that morning, most with
colds.

She decided to prescribe a cold remedy and asked Dunstan to prepare the medicine in small packets for sale. By
the end of the morning, they had sold several dozen, and the overall response was great.
At noon, Zach drove over to pick up Yolanda.
"Let's go to a new private dining place for lunch," he suggested as he drove. "My friend owns that restaurant, so
| can always get a private room."
"Sounds good."
Yolanda sat in the passenger seat, browsing the news on her phone. To her surprise, the top local headline
reported that Andy was under investigation for embezzlement and other charges.
His accounts had been frozen, and the investigation was ongoing, so there were no further details.
It seemed yesterday's questioning had been worthwhile. Seth clearly knew a lot of insider information; although
they hadn't located Jack's whereabouts, they had managed to catch Andy on serious charges, which could spell
the end for the Frick family.
Yolanda scrolled through a couple more posts but found no useful information, so she shifted her focus to other
news.
Just as she clicked on a new article, she suddenly heard a loud crash from up ahead.
Bang!
She instinctively looked up and saw the source of the noise through the car window as Zach pulled over.
"There's been an accident!"
A BMW had collided with a heavily modified off-road vehicle. The front of the BMW crumpled, and all the glass
shattered.
The collision caused a chain reaction, leading to several other cars crashing into each other. They might have
been caught in it if Zach hadn't stopped in time.
"Let's check it out."
Yolanda and Zach unbuckled their seatbelts and exited the car before running toward the BMW.
Inside, a young man was slumped over the steering wheel with blood covering his face and body; he was
unconscious.
As Yolanda approached, she was hit by a strong smell of gasoline. Looking at the back of the car, she noticed the
fuel tank was leaking, and gasoline was pooling on the ground.
The occupants of the off-road vehicle-two men and two women-stood around watching without offering any
assistance. The red-haired woman among them casually chatted on her phone, seemingly unconcerned about
the accident.
"What are you doing? Someone is injured; why aren't you helping?" Zach couldn't stand it anymore and shouted
at them.
"And who are you to interfere?" mocked the red-haired woman as she rolled her eyes. "Traffic accidents are
supposed to be handled by the police. No one is allowed to move!"
Her companions looked equally indifferent as they sneered at Yolanda and Zach as if mocking their concern.
"This isn't right; the BMW door won't open," Yolanda said. She tried to pull open the BMW's door, but the off-road
vehicle blocked it, leaving only a small gap that
made it impossible to pull the young man out.
"The car is going to explode if this keeps up!"
Many accidents with seemingly minor injuries usually becdeadly due to leaking fuel igniting. They had to act
quickly before the BMW caught fire.
Zach's expression darkened as he recognized the danger. He stood up to negotiate with the group.
"He's going to die if you don't move your vehicle!"
