Yolanda couldn't be bothered to waste twith someone like Monica. She went around Monica and headed
toward the elevator.
Monica still didn't seem to realize she was the one asking for help. She ordered the bodyguards behind her to
block Yolanda before she asked imperiously, "Are you going or not? If you continue disrespecting us, I'll ensure
you and your family can't survive in Riverdale City.
"Are you really going to drag your family and closest friends down because of your stupidity?"
"Ha!" Yolanda chuckled as a hint of mockery flashed in her eyes. "I'd love to see how you do that."
"You're the one refusing to take the easy way. Don't blme for what happens next!" Monica immediately
shouted to her bodyguards, "Grab her! Take her to the special ward now!"
"Yes, ma'am!" The bodyguards nodded and lunged at Yolanda.

Yolanda stood still, waiting for the first guard to reach for her arm. Just as he did, she swiftly performed a clean
over-the-shoulder throw that sent him crashing to the floor.
"Ah!" The burly bodyguard felt his body lift off the ground. Moments later, his back slammed painfully against
the marble tiles of the hospital corridor.
The surrounding bodyguards froze in place as they stared in shock at their fallen comrade. They were too
stunned to make a move.
Even Monica was left speechless. She never expected that despite Yolanda's young age, not only was her
medical skill remarkable, but her combat abilities were equally impressive.
Even though Monica had seen her share of tough situations, this one left her shaken.
"You're pretty tough for a young girl, but no matter how strong you are, can you handle the Fuel family's full
team of bodyguards?" Monica taunted. "These may not be enough, but | can send for more! You can't possibly
take on 20, let alone ten bodyguards.
"What are you all standing around for? Everyone, get her!"
Monica's sharp voice snapped the rest of the bodyguards out of their shock. They pulled out electric batons and
charged toward Yolanda.
But, just like the previous guard, they met the sfate.
Meanwhile, three police officers in plain clothes rushed out from Jude's hospital room.
Joel, hearing the commotion, had ordered his men to check on the situation. They immediately sprang into action
when they realized someone dared to lay a hand on Yolanda.
"Nobody move!" The officers pulled out their weapons, pressing them against the temples of the bodyguards,
who had just begun to stand up but were now frozen in place, too terrified to move.
Monica was stunned, her eyes wide as she stared at the officers who had suddenly appeared.
"Who are you?" she demanded.
"We work for Commissioner Kaufman. The Commissioner said anyone who messes with Dr. Henderson is messing
with him!"
Joel Kaufman?
Monica's expression fell. "Yolanda knows Joel?"
The lead officer sneered. "Dr. Henderson is Commissioner Kaufman's benefactor! Mrs. Fuel, | know the Fuel
family holds sinfluence in Riverdale City, but you'd better rein it in. If you cross the wrong people, you could
lose everything you have now. It wouldn't be worth it."
Monica stood there and looked at the officer in shock, completely bewildered. Wasn't Yolanda just syoung
lady? How could she be Jude's benefactor?
"Mrs. Fuel, Dr. Henderson recently saved Commissioner Kaufman's older brother."
"Commissioner Kaufman's older brother..." Monica repeated when a look of dread suddenly appeared on her
face.
If she wasn't mistaken, Joel's brother was none other than Jude Kaufman, the President of the State Medical
Board! Just moments ago, she confidently threatened to file a complaint with the State Medical Board...
