I never thought I'd actually get caught. But not long after I landed, | was surrounded.

“Alpha Henry, don’t listen to him. Don’t makelook down on you. You're the alpha of Shadowmoon Pack.

My words enraged Ulrich. He slappedhard across the face, “Shut up, omega!”
The sharp crack of the slap must've been heard through the comm, because Alpha Henry's shout cinstantly.

Alpha Henry's next words cthrough clenched teeth. “Where are you?”
“I'm at Gold Mountain! You've got two hours. If you're not here in two hours, I'll kill the omega. And you're only
allowed to bring four people, and four trucks of supplies. Four people. That's enough, right?”
“It’s enough.”
With that, Ulrich cut the call. He turned to me. “Unbelievable. He's actually willing to die for you.”
“No, you're wrong. He’s coming to kill you.”

“I want to kill him too!” Ella stirred inside me, itching for a fight. | soothed her, keeping her calm. | couldn't
reveal my strength yet. They still thought | was just an omega, so they hadn't shackledwith silver restraints
on my wrists or ankles.
